Behavioral health workforce and state hospital bed shortages; effects on the continuum of care in Virginia

NAMI Virginia supports a full community based system of care to reduce the need for inpatient hospitalized care. Only when this system is in place can NAMI Virginia safely support a reduction in state hospital beds and inpatient programs.
